Founded in 1991 under the leadership of Dr. Bob Wallace, the Edinboro News Network began as a student news organization dedicated to television journalism. The organization later became ETV to reflect an expanded mission beyond news production. Today, ETV serves as PennWest Edinboro’s student television outlet, producing a wide range of video content including a weekly news program, special feature productions, and live coverage of major university events. From commencement ceremonies to campus activities and community storytelling, ETV provides students with hands-on experience in reporting, producing, directing, and live event broadcasting using professional-grade equipment in the campus television studio located in Compton Hall.
